Transportation at The Bridge Land for Learning

Our Transportation Department helps make the journey to and from campus a smooth and supportive part of each child’s day. Serving school-aged children travelling between Vernon, Lumby, and our campus at The Bridge Land for Learning, the program provides safe, reliable transportation while maintaining the warm, attentive care that families expect from our community.

Our bus routes include the Sunrise Route (morning pick-ups at First Baptist Church in Vernon to the OWS Courtyard), the SunBeam Route (after-school pick-ups from J.W. Inglis Elementary to the Early Years Centre’s Sunflower and Lavender Rooms), and the Sunset Route (evening return from the Early Years Centre to First Baptist Church). Each ride is supported by our dedicated drivers—Mr. Douglas in the morning and Mr. Steve in the afternoon, who help ensure a calm and welcoming start and finish to the school day.

Safety and care are at the heart of the program. Attendance is carefully tracked, children are released only to authorized adults, and each bus carries emergency information, a first aid kit, and communication equipment. Through clear procedures and strong communication with families, we work together to make transportation a safe and positive part of the daily rhythm.

Transportation is available for $25 per month one-way or $50 per month round-trip, with service designed to support the needs of our school community.
